The New England Pickleball Club is opening a second location in Middleton, Massachusetts, to cater to the growing demand for indoor pickleball courts in the northeast. The new facility, located at 329 N Main St., will feature six indoor fenced courts dedicated to playing pickleball, along with viewing areas and a full pro shop for purchasing equipment.

The Middleton location is expected to open later this year, just in time for winter, when many pickleball players prefer to play indoors due to the weather. The club’s original location in Rye, New Hampshire, which opened in 2022, has been extremely popular, with memberships filling up quickly and an 800-player waitlist.

The owner and Head Pro at the New England Pickleball Club, Dave Velardo, emphasized the need for more indoor courts north of Boston to accommodate the increasing number of pickleball enthusiasts in the area. Pickleball has been the fastest-growing sport in America, with the number of players doubling in just five years.
