Pickleball Classes Overview:

• Beginner Level: Tailored for newcomers, these classes introduce players to Pickleball basics including equipment, terminology, score-keeping, court positioning, and essential skills like serving, returning, and volleying.
• Intermediate Level: Ideal for players who are familiar with game rules. This level emphasizes accuracy in serving, returning deep serves, targeting an opponent’s weak side, and applying advanced game strategies.

Equipment: Paddles are supplied.

About the Instructors:

• Marie Santos-Smith: A Certified PB Coach and a PB Ambassador for Westborough. Marie has previously organized outdoor pickleball clinics for both beginners and intermediate players in Westborough through its Rec. Dept.
• Monica Clune: Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Monica transitioned from tennis to pickleball, fueling her passion for the game. She’s now a PCI-certified coach. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Monica moved to the US in 1998 and has three children. In addition to coaching, she teaches foreign languages at Shrewsbury Public Schools.
