Flax Pond Recreation Area Info

Flax Pond Recreation Area has 10 dedicated pickleball courts with permanent nets. All levels of play. Open to members and pay to play. Organized play sponsored by the Town of Yarmouth from 9:00-12:30 pm, 6 days a week, Monday – Saturday on all 10 courts. Please observe locations for Pickleball Parking.

Court (tennis) Shoes a must – no exceptions Seasonal Membership: Residents $25/ Non-Residents $35 Registration through the Yarmouth Recreation Department at Yarmouth.activityreg.com.

Flax Pond Recreation Area pickleball courts are open to the public.

Since all of the Flax Pond Recreation Area pickleball courts are outdoor (10), you may need to bring your own pickleball net. Some of the nets are in not great shape so you may not want to take a chance.

Yarmouth has many options to play pickleball; there are some private courts (not run by Yarmouth) that are particularly good. The pickleball courts run by the Yarmouth Recreation Department are fine for beginner pickleball players. As the demand for pickleball courts increases in Massachusetts, Yarmouth may need to invest in pickleball courts and facilities.
