South Street Courts And Mall
South Street Courts and Mall, nestled in Jamaica Plain, features an array of sports amenities for the community. The park is home to a complete basketball court and a pair of tennis courts, which are frequently visited by local residents. Furthermore, the tennis courts also bear markings for pickleball, expanding the range of sports activities that can be enjoyed within the park.
The South Street Mall went under a massive renovation recently, which includes the addition of new basketball hoops, LED lighting, and the establishment of a drinking fountain. Furthermore, the courts are receiving a refurbishment with resurfacing and repainting efforts to accommodate a total of ** six pickleball courts**.
The lighting system was also enhanced with energy-efficient LED technology!
Welcoming players of all skill levels, JP Pickleball holds sessions every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the South Street Tennis Courts.
Run by the Boston Park and Recreation Department (so just horrible information); despite this, you need to see and play the pickleball courts at South Street Courts and Mall.
