Eliot Street Park (also known as Daniel W. Warren, Jr. Playground, Warren Field) has 9 outdoor pickleball courts (6 courts on the tennis courts, and 3 courts on  the basketball courts) that are available more often than you’d think – not sure why… these are GREAT courts.

Brookline is not a poor town – they really should have permanent pickleball courts. You may need a portable net which is not that big of a deal but could be a hassle. These pickleball courts at the Daniel W. Warren, Jr. Playground are run by the Brookline Recreation Dept.
